Becoming Woman Medicine Wheel

This is the medicine wheel for Sam's Becoming Woman ceremony. A medicine wheel is like a map. The cardinal directions were held by Grandmother Wisdom Keeper in the north, Kari in the south, Chloe and Bear Heart in the west and Abriana and Ol' Tom in the east. The non-cardinal directions were held by Granny in the southeast, Jennifer in the southwest, Bear Heart's Aunt Nina in the northwest and Sienna in the northeast.

The book gives more information, but certainly not an in-depth discussion of why each individual was chosen to sit in each direction. The second book in the series, Becoming the Magickal Mysterious Character will go into more about the Star Maidens' Circle teachings.
